The portfolio of yachts we have worked on and supplied products for, is wide and varied. There are certain projects that have stood out for being particularly complex and have come out with excellent results. One such project is that of 'Cristabella' an IMS JV 48 which Diverse were closely involved with throughout the build and continued the support on the racecourse. See our racing case study on 'Cristabella'.

On Board Computing

Diverse take pride in the product ranges they offer and provide only the best on board computing solutions for every application. There are a variety of marine PC's available that are specifically built to withstand the marine environment.

Our combinations of selected displays and computers keep both size and weight to a minimum, whilst still being able to provide the expansion and interfacing options that are so often difficult to achieve with more conventional laptops. It is now possible to run multiple charting packages along with weather acquisition, communications and performance related software at the same time without the constraints of the PC's normal two serial ports. We have ensured that all of our PC's come with up to four serial ports, two USB ports, a network adapter , and 1 or 2 half length slot as standard.

The B&G Race Vision 2 is the perfect example of how a marine computer, with the appropriate software, can be invaluable on the racecourse and whilst cruising. Diverse were the parents of the original Race Vision and Race Vision 2, and continue to stay heavily involved in it's development and the development of complimentary software.

The following PC's are available from Diverse:

For further information on any of these or other PC options please contact us.

To compliment the range of computer's we also offer a variety of software to suit any need. The B&G Deckman for Windows software was developed by Steve Hayles, our Technical Director, and was specially designed for yacht racing. The programme helps with lay line calls, stores and utilises data and has navigational charts and information. We supply electronic charts to customer's worldwide and a variety of other navigational and tactical software.

The following tactical software is available at Diverse:

We also supply peripherals such as waterproof, wireless keyboards and mice. To find out more about any of the computing equipment please do contact us.

Custom Computer Solutions

Diverse can tailor a computer system, including software, to a boats individual needs. An example of this is the keel control system onboard Emma Richard's Open 60 'Pindar'. The custom software allows full control of the hydraulic canting keel and is specially designed in the precise style the Pindar team wanted in order to be more efficient.
