The SHK series of 'D' Shackle Load Cells is designed for lifting and weighing in rugged or harsh environments.
The shackle pins are forged from high tensile carbon steel and are machined to an exacting specification.
The 'D' shackle load cells are available in a range from 6 to 50 tonnes; the integral connecting 4-core cable is normally enclosed in an armoured rubber hydraulic hose to give physical and environmental protection. The shackle pins are internally gauged and the whole instrumented area is sealed to IP67 to protect it in service.
They are simple to install and available in standard shackle sizes. Also supplied is a rotating bobbin designed to centralize the load and to minimise any point-load effects when the shackle is placed under load.
