Paul Grant, the hardware manager at Diverse, has extensive product knowledge after various trips to Edson in Massachusetts and he works very closely with them to find the best solutions for each Diverse customer.

The racing market is covered by a wide range of lightweight carbon or aluminium wheels and a carbon pedestal.
Superyachts can choose from carbon wheels for a contemporary look or beautifully polished wooden wheels for a traditional look. Any of the wheels can have the yacht’s name engraved into the centre and all of the systems are specifically designed for each individual yachts needs. Edson can also provide Multi-Mode steering systems which enable power steering for extra control when mooring these large yachts.
Standard pedestals are used on numerous production yachts, and although there have been many advances in the systems over the years, Edson have managed to keep the majority of parts as standard. This means that the more modern parts will fit straight into an older system, so refurbishing your steering system could not be easier!
