PROJECT - case study

Jethou Hits The Water
Genre: Mini Maxi

Diverse’ latest project, Judel Vroljik 60, Jethou has launched and just completed 2 weeks of sea trials and testing. Built by Green Marine in Lymington and temporarily based in Ocean Village. Soon to be heading out to her home in the Med and the competition of the growing mini maxi fleet.

Diverse has been working with the team on the electrical and electronics packages for the best part of a year now. We have put together a grand prix package while keeping the system simple, lightweight and giving great consideration to system backup.

“One of the more interesting features of our package is the I Star GPS and is one of the first boats to do so. I am looking forward to seeing how I can utilise this to maximise performance of the rest of the onboard instrumentation.” Comments Rachel Howe, navigator onboard.

We have also worked with Jethou to provide items of custom hardware and the Harken package.

Judging by the quality of racing amongst the mini maxis at Palma Vela, it’s going to be an exciting season onboard Jethou and a good test for the systems onboard.
